I SOUGHT SERENITY
Serenity to me, therefore, is the absence of insoluble conflict. And it is up to me first to determine whether, after an honest look at myself,I can cope with the problem, then decide whether it is to be tackled, passed over to another day, or dismissed forever.
- Came To Believe . . ., p. 111
At a point several years ago, my life had become devoid of serenity. My life had become a constant storm. I could not deal with life
and its issue like the quote from "Came To Believe" suggests. Life itself was a problem. I was seemingly never at peace within.
Without knowing it, I wanted serenity more than I wanted anything, and began a journey to find it. And find it over time I did.
From the journey, and in collaboration with others, we tried to first theorize about why the journey worked, then formalized the process and now share with others what we call the "Co-Creative Process of Life Recovery", a holistic approach to a balanced life rich in serenity. The process is co-creative because it cannot be done alone.Intrested in getting some serenity in your life?
Thought to Ponder . . .Serenity isn't freedom from the storm; it is peace within the storm.
Today I live withithe storms that are life with serenity. Drop by hopeserenity.ca and possibly we can get you started (at no obligation) on your own journey to the place you desire.
